• Please contact me with any questions or concerns about your child and the services they receive in science at  x6829   or [email protected].  Also check the portal frequently with your child.  Good communication between home and school is a vital component of your child's success.  

•  This year we will be using Schoology to keep track of assignments in place of a paper planner.  On 8-3 we also use Remind, a texting service which sends daily texts regarding homework assignments, upcoming due dates and other school information.  If your child needs a paper planner they may use one.
• It is vital that your child remembers to charge his or her laptop and bring it to school each day. 
• See your child's Science Schoology page for daily assignments and upcoming tests or quizzes.  You will also find a link to our current topic of study on quizlet ( a study website we use) on our Schoology Science page.

My goal for 8th grade is to determine the best option for your child's placement into 9th grade biology. I would also like to prepare them for their transition into high school and help them develop strategies that they can take with them next year while still providing them with the accomodations that they truly need.
